• Drainage designed rather than assumed. Surface water leaving the building envelope and reaching a defined outlet is what separates a yard that survives a wet February from one that has to be rebuilt.
• Licensing as a market norm. California landscape work sits under the C-27 classification issued by the Contractors State License Board, and any licence can be looked up by name or number on the CSLB site.
