• Drainage designed rather than assumed. Surface water leaving the building envelope and reaching a defined outlet is what separates a yard that survives a wet February from one that has to be rebuilt.
• Licensed, insured, in writing. Established landscape companies carry the relevant California contractor license and insurance, and a professional quote reflects it.
